Why Choose Neuromodulators Like BOTOX® and Dysport®?

Neuromodulators such as BOTOX and Dysport are injectables derived from botulinum toxin that safely relax targeted facial muscles, smoothing expression lines and preventing wrinkles from deepening. At Raval Facial Aesthetics, these treatments are carefully customized to soften wrinkles while preserving natural facial movement and expression.

BOTOX

BOTOX has become a go-to treatment over the last 2 decades. Injections temporarily improve or prevent signs of facial aging by reducing visible wrinkles. BOTOX doesn’t directly affect the skin; it works to ease muscle contractions that cause wrinkles to form over time. It’s also an effective solution for treating hyperhidrosis, or excessive underarm perspiration.

Dysport

Like BOTOX, Dysport is a purified neurotoxin that is injected to relax muscles that cause wrinkles and brow contractions. For some patients, Dysport may have a faster onset and longer duration than BOTOX.

BOTOX and Dysport solutions are measured in small increments called units, allowing Dr. Raval and our skilled injectors to precisely customize each treatment. Results typically last 3 to 4 months.

BOTOX vs. Dysport: What’s the Difference?

BOTOX and Dysport are both botulinum toxin neuromodulators used to relax facial muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles. While they work similarly, Dysport may spread slightly more easily and may take effect more quickly, while BOTOX is often chosen for its precision in targeted treatment areas. During your consultation, Dr. Raval and our team determine which option best suits your facial anatomy and aesthetic goals.

BOTOX for the Aging Face: Your Free Guide

If you're curious about BOTOX for aging skin, this guide helps you take your next steps toward a more youthful, confident look.

How Do Dermal Fillers Work?

Dermal fillers are cosmetic injectable treatments that restore youthful fullness to the lips, under-eye area, and cheeks. The result is smoother contours and softening of wrinkles and folds.

Dermal fillers reduce and, in some cases, erase visible signs of aging. At Raval Facial Aesthetics, our skilled injectors carefully tailor the amount of filler used to add volume, enhance facial balance, and achieve natural-looking results.

JUVÉDERM®

JUVÉDERM has been clinically shown to be safe and effective across a range of skin types, including darker skin tones. It contains hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance naturally found in the skin that attracts and retains moisture. When injected, HA-based fillers add volume beneath the skin, helping to smooth wrinkles and soften deeper folds.

JUVÉDERM is a family of fillers, many of which are designed for specific areas of the face, such as VOLBELLA® XC for the lips and VOLUMA® XC for rejuvenating the cheeks, chin, and the area around the mouth.

Restylane®

The Restylane family of injectable products features a biodegradable, biocompatible gel made wth hyaluronic acid. Restylane is used to restore facial volume and smooth lines,  commonly treating areas such as the lips and nasolabial folds between the nose and mouth. The result is fuller, more youthful-looking facial features.

Restylane Lyft® is part of the Restylane product family and one of the first FDA-approved injections specifically formulated to add volume to the mid-face area, particularly the cheeks and smile lines. Injections typically last up to 12 months.

Sculptra®

Unlike HA-based dermal fillers, Sculptra is a bio-stimulatory injectable that gradually and subtly restores volume by encouraging your skin’s natural regenerative process.

At Raval Facial Aesthetics in Denver, we use Sculptra to help patients achieve a more youthful, refreshed appearance without looking “overdone.” Whether it’s facial hollowness, deep folds, or general volume loss, Sculptra offers a long-lasting, natural-looking solution.
