The Combo Face Lift

The Combo Face Lift addresses the two major aspects of aging—volume and aging—and abbreviates the downtime of a facelift to a bare minimum. A minor incision is made at the hairline in front of the ears and behind the ears where the deeper layers of skin are pulled taut. That is combined with a fat transfer to the entire face, harvesting fat cells from other parts of the body—generally the stomach or thigh areas—using liposuction. The harvested cells are then spun in a device that separates them from other liquids and the fat cells are then re-injected in small amounts into the entire face with particular concentration under the cheekbones where faces tend to become more drawn with age. The recovery time is highly abbreviated vs. a traditional face lift as patients are up and around after two days and back to work within the week. The results are much more natural than a traditional face lift and last from seven to 10 years.
