American Board of Cosmetic Surgery
Founded in 1979, the mission of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS) is promoting safe and ethical practice of the specialty of cosmetic surgery. ABCS member physicians shall demonstrate the highest standards of training, knowledge and expertise, as determined by a process of peer review and standardized examination and certification. All candidates for ABCS certification must submit four letters of recommendation from practicing cosmetic surgery physicians.
